Lolita - Sober Without Your Love

     Lolita tells a story of lessons learned through love in her incredible new single, with a music video coming soon she will captivate many listeners and soon break through. The song released earlier this month is called “Sober Without Your Love” and everyone needs to hear it. I usually keep my responses unbiased to a degree in reviews, but I have had this song on repeat since it came out and it just gets better every time. 

     She released it on November 11, at 11:11am, and the meaning behind 1111 is new beginnings. So she timed this perfectly, and hopefully this means only the best for her! “Sober Without Your Love” blends Lolita’s beautiful vocals with techno elements, creating the perfect pop song for the industry now. Her release captures every element of a currently successful pop song. Being able to nail a genre like this is an incredible talent, and it will be great to see how she continues to do it.

     I spoke with her in a recent interview, and she says, “I released a new song titled “Sober Without Your Love.” It’s a tribute to past relationships that have taught me so much about myself. I’ve realized that heartbreak has been one of my greatest teachers. I sat down with myself & dealt with the residue of former relationships. I cried, laughed, fell to my knees with anguish, and picked myself up. I’ve cursed at, pitied, forgiven, thanked, and finally honored those who have been the vessels for these lessons. I’m ready to close that chapter of my life and move forward with the gems that I’ve learned. I have a song that will be coming out hopefully before the end of the year that I’m very excited about; it's the cherry on top for this beautiful journey I’ve had with relationships.” ( Read the full interview here.)
