Alternative pop band from Colorado, 888 had us “anxiously waiting” for their new single, and it’s everything we had hoped for. “Pins & Needles” is easily going to be one of their most successful releases. They have been playing this song at shows prior to the release and it always gets the crowd off their feet and singing even if they don’t know the words. It is about the process of what happens after a relationship and their personal experiences. It’s an emotional single but is so fun to listen and dance to. Fans have been waiting for this song to come out for so long, and it’s amazing now that it is! Danny Stills, lead vocals of 888 has such a powerful voice and adds so much more emotion to the song. And Danny Cooper’s talent on drums adds so much power behind the song, really tying everything together. You can tell how well the two of them work together just by listening to how well the music flows and how well it turns out. “Pins & Needles” is out now, go check it out on all streaming platforms and show support!

After a few months from her last release, ENZI will be putting out a new single called I’m Sorry That I on March 15. This song won her the grand prize at KTCL Channel 93.3’s Hometown For The Holidays show back in December of 2018. Her performance blew everyone away with this new single. It is alternative but has strong pop influences which blends so well with her voice and music style. The song really showcases how wide her vocal abilities are. Due to winning Hometown For The Holidays she will be playing at KTCL Channel 93.3’s Not So Silent Night at the end of 2019. But to catch her at a show sooner, she will be playing Arapahoe Basin on March 23 in celebration of their new terrain opening. I highly recommend going to both or either of these shows. ENZI has such a strong and intimate stage presence, making the crowd feel welcomed, while having the best time ever! Look out for her new single soon and other news from her!

Glass Cases plan to release their new single Color Blind Minds on February 15th and Colorado's music scene couldn't really be more excited! The song generally has really great lyrics that anyone can relate to. And as a band, they work so well together, that the song just emphasizes how synchronized their work methods are. It is alternative but poppy without fitting into the stereotype, which is quite significant. They for all intents and purposes have a show promoting the release on the 15th at Pinball Jones down in Fort Collins. If you're able to make it, go support them and have a blast. If not jam out to this new single all night long!

Up and coming new wave, alternative pop band VYNYL just put out their newest single “Dancing With The Devil” on December 28th, 2018. This is by far one of the most amazing pieces they have released. It gives a sense of nostalgia and makes you want to listen until you know every word. This song won them a spot in KTCL Channel 93.3’s Hometown For The Holidays Top 3 in 2017. Since then the song has not been officially released, making the anticipation unbearable. This is a huge comeback for VYNYL and an amazing release overall. Go stream it now, and check out their socials!

Modern Suspects just released their newest single “Designer Life”, and it’s by far one of the most appealing songs they have put out. This song was just uploaded, and they have a few more coming out very soon too! It feels like summer but honestly would be great any day, and ironically gives off a modern vibe. Make sure to go check it out on YouTube and follow them on social media for more updates on new material!

Local duo, OptycNerd just put out another song called “Instigator” and it’s definitely one of their best. It’s different than a lot of the other stuff they have released, but it still matches their vibe. The song being released in the beginning of summer fits perfectly because it’s one you can have on repeat all summer anywhere you go. They tend to use a play on words, like in their band name, but the cover image for the single says “INSTI-” and then a picture of an alligator producing, “Instigator”. Which makes it even more catchy and appealing. Make sure to go stream it now!
